This difference, along with other characteristics, gives the drug androgenic power (the ability to create a stable connection with the androgen receptor) and resistance to metabolic destruction in the body.

As a result, Trenbolone exhibits androgenic and anabolic activity with an index of 500, which is five times the strength of testosterone (index of 100). The steroid shows high rates of muscle mass growth. Does not retain fluid in the body (in any concentration) due to lack of aromatization (the ability to convert to estrogen). Trenbolone has also been found to stimulate the production of the active hormone IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1, IGF-1) in muscle tissues, enhancing their anabolic capabilities.

The steroid is also characterized by a special modification at carbon atoms 19 and 11: hydrogen is separated from them, and the missing bond between neighboring atoms in the cycloalkali rings is replaced by a double one. This is what gives trenbolone not only resistance to aromatization, but complete immunity to the aromatase enzyme, and also gives trenbolone increased androgenic potency (the ability to create a stable connection with the androgen receptor) and resistance to metabolic destruction in the body.
